On September 28th, 2019 the New York Modular Society played it's very first show at Muchmores in Brooklyn, NY.
On September 26th, 2020 the New York Modular Society celebrated 1 year of artistry, creativity and community - live on Twitch.
This album assembles the live performances of 15 NYMS artists who each played 10 minute sets composed with a modular synthesizer. In an experiment to create greater synergy throughout the evening, each artist was tasked to have their set start and end on C3 (130.8hz). The result, we hope, is a unique, mostly seamless listening experience for you.
